About us
Founded in 1998 by the Boiocchi family and developed in the heart of manufacturing Lombardy, Ag Technical has always been closely linked to its local area, with a strong focus on service and customization of galvanic treatments.
Over the years, the company has developed tailor-made solutions for the electrical, electronic, electromechanical, automotive, white goods, defense and aerospace industries, aimed at providing better conductivity and corrosion resistance using three electrodeposition techniques (frame, rotary barrel, and reel-to-reel).
The company has distinguished itself for its reliability, technical expertise and ability to build solid relationships with leading Italian and multinational industrial players.
In June 2025, Argos ST acquired 70% of Ag Technical S.r.l: a strategic move that allowed the Group to integrate the know-how of the Lombardy-based company and thus expand its offering in terms of galvanic processes.
Its specializations include a wide range of processes, including silver plating, gold plating, chemical and electrolytic nickel plating, copper plating, glossy and matte electrolytic tin plating, and aluminum passivation.

Three production sites specialized in application techniques
The company operates through three production plants, each with specific skills and areas of expertise. This flexible approach allows us to respond effectively to different requirements in terms of volumes, materials, and performance, while maintaining high quality standards and short delivery times.
Reel to Reel
Ag Technical is one of the leading centers in Italy to perform reel-to-reel application
This technique can be performed on solid or pre-cut tape, with selective or non-selective deposition. This guarantees high productivity, uniformity and automation of the process.
The dimensions of the tapes that can be processed reach a height of 140 mm and a maximum thickness of 3 mm, with the possibility of performing up to 3 different treatments on the same tape in a single pass, optimizing production times and costs. Selective treatments are performed by controlled immersion and/or pad technique.

Ag Technical offers a complete range of treatments, with formulations and cycles that can be customized according to the application sector
Each treatment is developed according to strict quality and environmental standards, in line with international regulations. All processes comply with the RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU) and the REACH Regulation on restrictions on the use of hazardous substances.
