Dehydrogenation: post-treatment for steel and metals
Dehydrogenation is a thermal process that removes hydrogen absorbed by an object during previous electrochemical and chemical processes.

Dehydrogenation is a thermal process that removes hydrogen absorbed by an object during previous electrochemical and chemical processes.
This process is carried out in a dedicated furnace at a temperature of 180 to 200 °C for a minimum time of 2 hours up to a maximum of 8 hours.
The operation is essential for steel items that must have tensile strength values greater than 100/Nmm in order to prevent the part from breaking.
