Argos’ Cheniflon electroless nickel plating and Elniflon electroless nickel plating¬†give surfaces a smooth finish. They contain PTFE microparticles (1 micron in diameter), dispersed in varying percentages from 20% to 30% in the nickel matrix, ensuring the persistence of PTFE on the surface.

Properties of Cheniflon and Elniflon coatings

With these electroless nickel-plating processes, Argos provides a perfectly uniform coating on the piece, guaranteeing the utmost protection, even of internal areas such as cavities and holes. This property also carries the advantage that the coating is very versatile, adhering perfectly to the substrate and preventing peeling, even if it suffers mechanical damage or is subject to significant stress.
